Gear inventory stays local. No lathe is controlled.

Leadscrew, target pitch/TPI, and gear tooth counts are searched only on the current page. ThreadTrain does not connect to lathes, motors, encoders, or CNC systems, and it never generates or sends machine instructions.

Theoretical speed ratio, not a lathe setup chart

The tool converts TPI to 25.4/TPI mm, searches A/B or (A/B)×(C/D) trains, respects repeated tooth counts as physical copies, and ranks absolute ppm before maximum gear and total teeth. Inventory is limited to 80 gears of 5–500 teeth each. It does not determine shaft positions, module/diametral pitch, pressure angle, mesh centers, idlers, direction, half-nut operation, machine rigidity, tooling, or cutting safety.

Lathe and inventory details may be private equipment data

Refreshing or closing discards inputs. CSV contains candidate A/B/C/D gears, theoretical ratio, pitch, TPI, ppm, and drift per 100 mm; reports and optional local checkpoints read the visible summary. Machine leadscrew specification, inventory, and production targets may be sensitive, so review them before sharing.

This page uses Google AdSense Auto Ads. Google may use cookies or similar technologies under its policies. .miluland.com domain cookies sync language, theme, high contrast, a six-item recent-tools list, and up to 16 favorite tool IDs across MiluLand sites. These values never contain inputs, files, or results; the current site also keeps a local compatibility copy.

Local report studio

The report studio reads only the workbench’s currently visible result summary for local preview, Markdown copy, JSON download, printing, and a SHA-256 fingerprint. It never reads input controls or original files and is not persisted unless you choose to download it.

Optional local checkpoints

Only when you explicitly choose Save does the tool write the visible result summary, time, and optional short label to this site’s browser storage, up to five entries. Imported files and input-control contents are never stored; you can export, restore same-tool checkpoints, or clear them at any time. Imports are limited to 128KB and validate the tool, timestamp, summary, and label of up to 80 characters.
